Our Story

PearlSnow was born out of real-world frustration and first-hand experience. For years, ski instructor and mountain operations expert Steven Hager trained young skiers in the Swiss Alps, only to see perfect training conditions melt away due to unpredictable weather and short seasons.

Rather than accept those limits, Steven set out to change them.

Through years of hands-on testing, product development, and collaboration with global partners, PearlSnow was founded to solve a simple but powerful problem: how can we make snow sports better, longer, and more accessible, without compromising on quality?

Today, PearlSnow is one of the fastest-growing synthetic snow companies in Europe, with projects ranging from grassroots community slopes to elite freestyle and racing facilities.

MEET THE TEAM

Menno Mooij

Menno is responsible for keeping projects and operations running smoothly across PearlSnow. With a background in sports, coaching and event operations, he understands what it takes to organise, execute and deliver under real-world conditions.

He works closely with customers, partners and internal teams to make sure projects move forward without friction, from first contact to delivery. With a strong focus on clarity, communication and follow-up, Menno’s role is to ensure PearlSnow delivers reliably and professionally at every step.

Tomas Huting

Tomas is responsible for the strategic direction and long-term development of PearlSnow. With a background in building and scaling international action sports companies, his focus is on clarity, structure and sustainable growth.

He leads brand positioning, partnerships and system development, ensuring PearlSnow evolves into a reliable and scalable solution for resorts worldwide. Tomas’ role is to connect product, market and vision, and to keep PearlSnow commercially strong while staying true to its purpose: enabling progression-focused winter sports, even when natural snow becomes less reliable.
