Construction & technology

PearlSlide is a high-speed surface with upright brush geometry and rounded tips, engineered to deliver fast straight-line glide, reduced drag, and consistent throughput. It incorporates our Pearl BulbSet Technology, a precision grid of rounded pearls that minimizes drag, enhances glide, and improves directional control. The unique bulb geometry provides smooth acceleration, stable performance at high speeds, and controlled braking when required, giving both operators and riders a predictable snow-like feel even under demanding conditions. The surface is made from ultra-durable UV-resistant polymer designed for year-round use and is available in white, with custom colors available on request.

Installation

PearlSlide is supplied in modular 3 m² panels that make layout and replacement straightforward. The system adapts easily to common sub-bases such as compacted ground, decking, or platforms. For best results, we recommend using a geotextile or root barrier underlay, as a firm and level base improves long-term stability and prevents bulging. Individual panels can also be replaced when needed, allowing facilities to minimize downtime and keep tubing zones open.

Maintenance

PearlSlide requires only minimal care to maintain reliable performance. Regular brushing and periodic inspections are enough to keep the surface clean and fast. In warm or dry conditions, light lubrication such as misting or an eco slide agent helps preserve consistent glide and reduce wear. For activities such as skiing and snowboarding, sharp edges can gradually affect the surface texture over time. Thanks to the modular 3 m² panel system, these high-wear areas can be replaced individually — quickly and without downtime.

By experience, about 5–15% of a slope surface typically needs replacement every 1–2 years, mainly in the most heavily used zones such as take-offs and braking areas.

For tubing and other low-impact activities, wear is minimal, and the surface remains fully functional for many years with only basic maintenance.

How does PearlSnow performs in different climates?

PearlSnow is developed to perform consistently in a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions, from freezing mountain air to sunny coastal resorts.
