Product description
PearlTile is our premium synthetic snow surface, designed for facilities and athletes who demand maximum grip, speed, and reliability. It is specifically designed for advanced freestyle zones, big-air setups, slopestyle features, and racing courses that require precise control under pressure. With its robust construction and advanced geometry, PearlTile delivers the responsiveness needed for high-impact training and competition environments.
Compared to PearlSnow, PearlTile provides greater carving precision, faster acceleration, and more consistent edging, giving expert riders the confidence to push performance further. Its durability and professional-grade design make it the surface of choice for venues that focus on progression, safety, and elite-level results.
Construction & technology
PearlTile features an advanced monoblock design made from a single-layer, high-performance polymer engineered for year-round use in high-impact ski and snowboard environments. This structure eliminates weak points and ensures consistent performance across the entire surface. Its elevated 3D geometry allows for deep edge engagement, giving riders realistic edging and carving that closely mimics compact, freshly groomed snow. This makes PearlTile particularly effective for slalom, carving, and freestyle takeoffs.
The material’s natural low-friction properties provide smooth and responsive glide with only minimal lubrication, helping to maintain consistent performance while reducing the need for water or sliding agents. Optimized material density absorbs impact during landings and takeoffs, improving rider safety and reducing fatigue during long training sessions. PearlTile is designed to retain its shape and performance even under extreme temperatures and repeated use, making it ideal for demanding professional environments. It is available in white, with custom colors available on request.
Installation
PearlTile is supplied in modular precision tiles designed for secure, professional-grade installation. The installation takes longer than roll-based systems, however the result is a surface with exceptional accuracy, alignment, and durability. This makes it ideal for freestyle zones, jump takeoffs, and race features where precision is essential.
A stable, well-prepared base layer ensures proper alignment and long-term consistency. Our team provides full technical support for slope design, base preparation, and setup. Individual tiles can also be replaced when needed to minimize downtime and keep training zones open.
Maintenance
PearlTile requires only minimal maintenance to remain in peak condition. Regular brushing and periodic inspections keep the surface clean and fast. In warm or dry conditions, light lubrication such as misting or an eco slide agent helps maintain consistent glide and reduces wear. With proper care, PearlTile provides many seasons of reliable use in demanding training environments.
Sustainability
PearlTile eliminates the need for snowmaking, grooming, and chemical treatments, significantly reducing water and energy consumption as well as operational CO₂ emissions. Its long service life and low upkeep make it a cost-efficient choice for professional facilities.
The surface is built from a durable, single-material recyclable polymer compound, allowing the entire product to be fully recycled at the end of its life without separating layers or components. This circular design minimizes waste and simplifies material recovery, setting PearlTile apart from traditional multi-layer or POM-based systems.
Our Sample Box includes all five PearlSnow products, so you can compare their performance, durability, and snow-like feel side by side. It’s the easiest way to test and find the right solution for your slopes, parks, or training facilities.
PearlSnow is a next-generation synthetic snow surface engineered to replicate the feel and performance of real snow, without melting or seasonal limits. It can be used worldwide for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and recreational attractions.
Most traditional dry slopes use stiff brushes or carpet-like mats that can feel harsh, inconsistent, or slow. PearlSnow is engineered differently. It combines a smooth glide surface with controlled grip, giving skiers and snowboarders a natural edge feel and predictable speed, even in warm or wet conditions.
Its unique material blend reduces friction, wear, and maintenance while staying gentle on skis, boards, and riders. The result is a surface that feels more like snow: carve in when you want to, forgiving when you need it.
Yes! PearlSnow is designed from the ground up to be safe, comfortable, and confidence-building for users of all ages.
Unlike older dry-slope systems that could feel harsh or unpredictable, PearlSnow provides a controlled and forgiving glide that allows beginners to focus on technique instead of balance recovery.
Every detail of the surface has been tested to support safe learning:
- Progressive grip and glide: The texture provides reliable edge hold for beginners while maintaining a smooth, natural slide for experienced riders.
- Shock-absorbing base: Optional under-layers reduce impact during falls, especially valuable for ski schools and children’s areas.
- Predictable speed control: Users gain real “snow feel” without needing steep slope angles or huge amounts of lubrication.
Instructors often tell us that children and first-time skiers learn faster on PearlSnow because they build confidence quickly and like to repeat exercises, while also learn how to ride technically correct.
PearlSnow is built for durability and long-lasting performance.
Its lifespan depends mainly on how frequently it’s used and how it’s maintained. The material is UV-stable, weather-resistant, and engineered to handle thousands of runs each season without a noticeable loss in glide performance.
For activities such as skiing and snowboarding, sharp edges can gradually affect the surface texture over time. Thanks to the modular 3 m² panel system, these high-wear areas can be replaced individually — quickly and without downtime.
By experience, about 5–15% of a slope surface typically needs replacement every 1–2 years, mainly in the most heavily used zones such as take-offs and braking areas.
For tubing and other low-impact activities, wear is minimal, and the surface remains fully functional for many years with only basic maintenance.
PearlSnow is developed to perform consistently in a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions, from freezing mountain air to sunny coastal resorts.
In cold or frosty conditions, the surface maintains its flexibility and grip, preventing the “brittle” feel common in older plastics.
In warm or dry weather, glide speed can increase slightly on steep slopes or decrease on flat zones, but this can easily be fine-tuned with adjusted slope angles or a light application of eco slide agent.
The material is UV-stabilized, water-draining, and non-slip so it stays durable and predictable, even after years of outdoor exposure.
In short: PearlSnow adapts to your environment instead of the other way around.
